My name is Matthieu Carver, and I'm an assertive, creative, and logically minded individual, who values critical and outside-the-box thinking. I am currently living in Portland, Oregon, and am a student at Portland State University. I'm actively building my experience and education in Graphic Design (my Major), as well as Marketing and Advertising Management (my Minor).

I'm also an Air Force veteran with years of experience in national defense, military intelligence, and security. In the latter years of my military career, I discovered that my true passion was Graphic Design. Not only does it capitalize on my creative side, but also allows me to problem solve and help other people in the process!

In my free time, I do freelance graphic design work and illustration, and have worked with a handful of clients. I also have a variety of nerdy interests that keep me busy, including: computers, virtual reality, video games/board games, and various other DIY hobbies.
